Awe-inspiring views of Edinburgh Castle backed up by a vibrant Grassmarket below made every moment at this hotel feel like I was living in a postcard. It was like waking up in a fairytale every morning – truly unforgettable.

The view from the rooms and restaurant is stunning, especially of Edinburgh Castle. The hotel is centrally located in the Old Town, making it convenient for visiting attractions. Free parking available. Small rooms with two beds, great for families with kids and infants. Swimming pool for the kids to enjoy. Helpful and friendly staff.

I had a deluxe room with a stunning view of the castle. Even though the room was a bit stuffy, the balcony was a great addition to get some air. The buffet breakfast was chaotic, but the service was good. I would recommend this hotel for its great location and comfortable rooms.

The restaurant had a buffet breakfast and special diet menus. we would highly recommend this place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

With a variety of merry options to choose from, including deliciously festive feasts and holly jolly party nights, our family had a delightful time celebrating the holidays in Edinburgh. The expert Events team made our party even more special with extra thoughtful touches, creating lasting memories for both us and our children.

My wife says that more family-friendly entertainment options could be offered, catering to children of different ages to enhance the overall family experience.

The hotel was centrally located which was great. We stayed here because it was within walking distance to a show we went to. The castle was close by which made things easy. The room was a good size and we had plenty of space.

The noise in the hotel was a real problem. It was loud and kept us up at night.

The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect for exploring the city. It was right in the heart of the action, with shops, pubs, and attractions all within a few minutes' walk. Plus, the views of the nearby castle were stunning, especially from the rooms with balconies. It was a treat to wake up to such a picturesque sight every morning. the availability of parking was a huge plus. It was so convenient to have a secure parking lot just for hotel guests, and the peace of mind it provided was worth every penny.

There was no way to adjust the heat, and since we visited during a particularly warm spell, it got uncomfortably hot.

The hotel's decoration was absolutely lovely and gave a warm, comfortable feeling, perfect for relaxation. The general areas were well-maintained and spacious, making it easy for senior people to move around comfortably. The hotel's accessibility for senior people was excellent, with easy access to the main areas and helpful staff to assist with any needs.

The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is more consideration for the noise level, especially in the late evening hours, to ensure a peaceful and restful stay for the children working there.

The room at Apex Grassmarket Hotel was so cozy and stylish, with an amazing view of the city. The king-size bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the en suite bathroom was modern and luxurious. It was perfect for a city break like mine.
